LED packaging service provider Everlight Electronics expects shipments and consolidated revenues for the third quarter of 2015 to increase on quarter, company chairman Robert Yeh said at the 2015 shareholders meeting.

Everlight has developed several new products and will begin production in the second half of 2015, Yeh said. Everlight has begun shipments of niche products, including infrared LEDs, ultraviolet LEDs, LED display boards, automotive LEDs and LEDs for Internet of Things, Yeh indicated.

For LED backlighting in particular, Everlight has developed thin LED backlight units, with thickness decreased from 0.3mm to 0.2mm, Yeh said.

Everlight shareholders approved the distribution of a cash dividend per share of NT$4 (US$0.13) for 2014.
