Designed by William Brand and Annet Van Egmond of Brand Van Egmond in 1996 the Hollywood Icicle Chandelier was inspired by the experiences they found in nature. Like a tree after an ice storm, shiny with a hardened appearance the Hollywood Chandelier’s top portion portrays what happens to a tree after a long hard freeze.

The bottom portion explores what icicles look like when found hanging from trees and edges of buildings, gorgeous and shimmering from a far but dangerous up close. This hand blown art sculpture uses glass to show nature’s real beauty in a chandelier that is made from hand blown artisan glass.
